I like that they have a unique menu with several options! I got the “Polish”. It didn’t taste like there was cheese with it? (There’s no cheese with the description… but it is listed as a cheesesteak option…) It tasted more like hash browns (vs. potato pancakes). Still enjoyed it though. Ingredients felt crisp/fresh. This pic was a “leftover pic” (so it definitely looked better fresh) — but attaching for reference. Would order from here again.

We tried the Triple Cheese Philly and the Rodeo Philly. I customized my Rodeo with fried onions and green peppers—so good! I got full from just half the sandwich, and the flavor was absolutely delicious. The cashier was super understanding when I wanted to change my order, which I really appreciated. 10/10 would definitely recommend, and I’ll be going back soon!

This is the second time trying Steve and Irene. We received free hoagie coupons from a fundraiser so we figured we'd try it again. I mean, the picture speaks for itself. There's no meat, it's a bread sandwich.

Disappointed Yet Again Tried giving Steve and Irene’s another shot, hoping things had improved since our last visit — unfortunately, it’s only gotten worse. The sub we ordered was all bread with barely any meat. What little meat there was could only be described as pathetic. It’s incredibly disappointing to pay for a hoagie and end up with a glorified loaf of bread. You’d expect a decent meat-to-bread ratio, especially from a place with a reputation for subs, but this was unacceptable. Steve and Irene’s really needs to reevaluate their portions if they want repeat customers. Sadly, this was our last visit.

Great location for steak sandwiches and even other item's like chicken strips and wings. The fries are kinda thin, but if you order them with say the taco seasoning and cheese whiz they are good. Every time I've ever gotten food here it's always been fresh and as ordered. Also just as a favorite of mine the fried pickles here are absolutely delicious. So if you're in the area and in the mood for steak sandwiches and other simple menu item's I'd highly recommend this location.
