Stewart House River Garden

Dining at The Stewart House is a truly enjoyable experience. My selection was exceptional. We had a wonderful date day. Beautiful restaurant old style inside. Out waitress very nice and friendly! We defenitely coming back again!

The park-like atmosphere is fantastic! The hostess and bartenders were helpful/friendly. We ordered takeout food for the adjacent concert in the park. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING!!! My gazpacho was in a small cup that was only 1/3 full. (The actual soup was below the green line on the exterior of the cup. The rings of soup were from me carrying it quite a distance from the restaurant and then across the concert field. It ended up being about 5 or 6 soup spoons. I called and I was advised to go back and show a manager that the to-go cups were quite large. I contested that and said that if I was dining in the restaurant, if I emptied the contents of the soup cup into a restaurant bowl, it would barely coat the bottom of the bowl. This waterfront gem offers stunning views of the Hudson, while sipping on a craft beer and enjoying some delicious comfort food. I had the Waygu Hot Dog with Chile which was scrumptious and filling and paired perfectly with my craft beer. This is a great way to enjoy a relaxing meal.

Update: Oyster Fest started on Sunday 6/19/22. A nice spot along the river. Service was excellent but the full seafood menu is not quite ready for the season. All around a good visit.

Very nice location on the water - Staff were friendly. Drinks, we’ll we asked if the cocktail was with Grapefruit she said no (Pamplemouse margarita) and of course it was. The beer was more tricky “Sloop Juice Bomb” didn’t dare ask what was in it - settled for a boring Corona.
