Stone's Countryside Tavern

Stopped for lunch with my sister the other day. Was met and served by the owner himself. Food was fabulous. Place looked really nice.

This was our first visit. Very friendly staff. Waitress was awesome. The food was delicious. There were 4 of us. We had strip steak, fish, and a turkey burger. Then pasta as a side dish, fries, and others. Dessert was ice cream and a Boston cream pie. It was nearly empty when we got there at 4 pm. By the time we left, it was full! Packed! We will be back to try something different next time. It is a nice small family restaurant.

Entrance was accessible, two doors. We had two meals, it was an affordable night out. He got chicken fingers and fries and I had theBLT with fries. FRIES ARE AMAZING- fresh cut. It wasn't crazy portions or anything but it was worth the money. Service wasn't that great but we really didn't mind. It was a very friendly, homie atmosphere. Felt like a mom and pop. I'd would absolutely go back before I went to a Denny's or Applebee's. Check it out

There is more to this location than the 5 stars I gave in all categories. This is a family of genuine caring individuals. I had a surgery go bad and lost much mobility, on the night of their Halloween party it was crowded and fearing to bump into people or fall I asked Katie if needed if she could balance my bad side when leaving, without hesitation she said of course, even when she had a full bar and restaurant to tend to . My girlfriend arrived later and brought a walker I use in an emergency. Katie brought it inside the bar area so I could have easy access to it . My girlfriend also had a lung removed because of cancer. All of the family showed concern and asked me how she was progressing. Dan always comes over to me to shake my hand. Always great food and friendly staff. We always leave happy with our experience. They always have some wonderful cocktails too!
