The people here are very friendly, building is beautiful and the environment is nice and the photos on the wall is a great touch . The food however wasn’t very good. I got the cornbread- was good, yams - was good, but the Mac and cheese . U can taste the velveta, it was played on thick, nothing soup about that. The beef tips and rice was most disappointing. The sauce was light not the dark one you would expect. Wasn’t seasoned as expected, and the rice tasted like it came out of a rice cooker . Side note I made my own gravy and put on top to doctor it up

Too many flies buzzing around our table first off. Service was quick! Prices are quite reasonable but I gotta say my food was pretty bland. I got beef tips. Maybe the cook that day forgot a couple of extra dashes and sprinkles of something. The meat was tough. Even the gravy over the dressing was lacking. Mac n cheese wasn't too too bad but I had to add salt and pepper to bring more life. The yams were nothing like anything I've ever tasted before. It tasted like plain sweet potatoes with maybe some kind of marshmallow extract poured over them. No cinnamon, no nutmeg, no real marshmallows. No nothing. I asked my mom to taste, she said same thing. Tastes like marshmallows but no marshmallows to be seen. The cornbread was fine just not sweet enough for me. Mom didn't care for her por

Stormie’s Soul Food – Fort Worth, TX 🍗🔥💛 I stopped by Stormie’s Soul Food for the first time, and that food completely flipped my mood! Everything tasted like it came straight out of somebody’s family kitchen — full of flavor, warmth, and love. The oxtails were fallin’ off the bone 🍖, the mac & cheese was creamy like a dream 🧀, the yams were buttery and sweet 🍠💛, the cabbage and green beans were seasoned just right 👌🏽, and that cornbread? Soft and spongy like cake 🎂 but still had that perfect cornbread texture 🔥 — easily some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The chicken spaghetti was loaded with flavor too 🍝🐔. I did run into a small bone and some chicken skin 😂, but honestly, that just proved it’s real home-style cooking. They’re using fresh chicken, not that processed stuff, and it

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Okay — my taste buds were dead set on soul food today, and after about 25 “no’s,” I finally found my yes at Stormie Monday’s Family Soul Food. Let me tell you, I definitely made the right choice. Not only is it not $30 like the other places I looked at, but they’ve got an all-day special that made choosing easy when I couldn’t decide. I went with the chicken spaghetti, but you can also get fried pork chops or wings — all for $8.65 with tax, including two sides and cornbread. It’s a ton of food, and every bite I take I think to myself, how did they get some much flavor in every bite. I told the lady, “That was the most disgustingly amazing meal I’ve ever had!” and she just grinned and said, “I know, right?” I did try the banana pudding too — it’s pretty simple, not a showstop

There is no reason Oxtails should THIS much fat still on it. I had very little and I mean very little meat on my oxtails. I almost drove that 30 minutes back to ask for a refund. The sides were just ok, nothing special. I ate them because I paid for it. My 1st and last time visiting. Hopefully they see this and improve. Best of luck to them.
