Storybook Cottage on the Hudson

Storybook Cottage helped us with our dream wedding!! For $2225, Kathleen allowed us to use her bed and breakfast for our commitment ceremony and it was better than we ever could have imagined! Kathleen was absolutely amazing with helping to guide me and my wife through the planning process. Kathleen was extremely accommodating and very flexible and one of the most gracious people I have ever met! Extremely professional, wonderful attitude when it came to helping me and my wife plan our ceremony! Very lgbtqia friendly and was definitely well within our budget! Storybook Cottage help to bring our ceremony Vision to life and I would absolutely recommend this venue for anyone having a small wedding/ commitment ceremony! You're going to get the absolute best care and treatment!

This BnB has so much charm and comfort. I stayed with my 3yr old while visiting friends in the area. Kathleen and Jack were wonderful hosts, above and beyond. Their made to order food was all delicious, especially the granola and muffins. The town is beautiful, and truly a gem, to include the local community. The room had all the comforts of home, soft bedding plenty of pillows and places to plug in and recharge whatever you need while on the road. We can’t wait to visit again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Storybook Cottage. Kathleen and Jack were such friendly and attentive hosts. Our room was clean and comfortable. The best part of staying here was our breakfast! The food was delicious and there were so many options it was hard to choose. We would definitely recommend the Storybook Cottage and would stay here again, if the opportunity arises.

A lovely place to stay, Kathleen and Jack were exceptional hosts! Very cyclist friendly (thanks for the awesome protein smoothie for our early morning start). The decor is very on point and you can see they have put such thought and love into anticipating guests needs. All the little details add up to one great experience. Can't wait to come back!

Highly recommended!🌟 My friends and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday here. On our first day, it was snowing, which made the cottage look even more like something out of a storybook. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. Kathleen and Jack were incredibly kind and welcoming. Kathleen even offered a breakfast menu to accommodate different dietary restrictions. She made delicious breakfasts every morning, and I really enjoyed the breakfast chats with them. I’m so excited to hear that Jack and Kathleen are planning to add more rooms! I’ll definitely be back in the summer with family and friends. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your time and your beautiful home with us. Kathleen’s muffins were amazing. You have to try them!
