Fantastic selection of beer. Love that they have tons of Sours to choose from when most places have none. Cocktails are decent for the price point. Food is also decent, especially for bar food. They have both a downstairs section for events and a small upstairs bar for comedy nights. They have a super small stage for bands and often have live music. Outdoor seating during the warm seasons and a backroom with a pool table and foosball, as well as indoor dining seating separate from the bar area. It's set back far enough away from Elm street that you don't have to worry about people harassing you for money or cigarettes either, which is always nice to avoid. Service can either be fantastic or alright depending on when you go and who you get. Prices are fair too and they always run daily sp
We were visiting a friend in Manchester on a Sunday night and wanted to find a local place to enjoy a drink. Found this place and stayed for open mic night. Met a few new friends, enjoyed some cool local bands and enjoyed the service of Chelsea, best bartender around.
Great beer selection and good pub food. Can’t go wrong if that’s the vibe you’re going for.
Went on a Saturday night around 1030pm - good place for late night food - much better quality than the usual junk that's available. Enjoyed the live bluesy band. We had the cajun pasta - very yummy with an expected kick, but not too spicy. Also had a chicken caesar wrap that was good. They were out of fresh pita bread with the hummus. The fried pita chips tasted more like oil than anything else. Will definitely return! Service was good.
Fun Atmosphere, a Little Loud, Slow Service We came for a "Team Dinner" with coworkers on Open Mic Night. It was fun, laid back, and had a solid group of regulars. My male coworkers enjoyed the beer selection. There are books all around the bar, and not just for decoration: I picked up a Mitch Albom book while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive. Our party was larger than average; so we called ahead and made a reservation; but for whatever reason, it still took nearly two hours for our food to arrive. 😬 My burger was tasty but a little on the sad side: I had to wait a little bit to post this review because I didn't want it tied to my work group... I wouldn't recommend a party of any larger than 5 coming here. And maybe, if the owner could turn the speakers down a little, too?
