Suburban Diner

Wait staff was very kind, attentive and friendly. French fries were great and gravy on the side was flavorful. Spanikopita tasted homemade with a good amount of spinach. Greek salad was fresh, as was the feta cheese and dressing. Very clean, nice bar area. I like that they are open late.

My husband and I caught sight of this retro looking diner from Route 17 and followed our curiosity inside. As diners go, Suburban Diner is far from a grimy, greasy spoon. For a diner that's been around since the fifties, the inside is surprisingly clean and modernized. The space is also pretty cavernous, with tables and booths stretching to both to the left and right of the entrance. The menu reads like a classic diners' - lots of sandwiches, burgers, wraps, pastas, and brunch options. We ordered one of their burgers, which was just fine. I appreciated that it was served on a brioche bun and that the patty had achieved a decent char. What surprised me was that there was a separate menu for specials...and lots of customers were ordering them. To wit, I caught sight of a small roast chicke

Great service. We had a large, fairly indecisive party of 9. Our server was attentive and patient with us. They have everything you want from a diner - in generous portions.

This was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. I ordered the brunchadilla and I never had a quesadilla fall apart so quick in my hands it was a mess. The avocado was hard and the chunks were huge, the cheese didn’t even keep the toppings together. The tortilla was not toasted. AWFUL. The “home fries” just looked like mashed potatoes no salt and pepper. Complete waste of money.

My cousin told me she only does breakfast at diners.🍳🥞🥓 Unfortunately, I totally get why. 😔 👀 😔 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♂️🤷‍♀️ Visually, the nachos weren't appealing to me, so I didn't eat them. I should've sent them back to the kitchen. Pink 🌮 🌮 Taco in Times Square Nachos are way better! I'll stick with turkey/veggie 🍔 burgers and breakfast🍳🥞🥓 at Suburban Diner. I did like the hot water & New England Clam Chowder 🍲Soup The blueberry 💙 😋 pancakes 🥞 was delicious
