Suburpia on Layton

Ordered: White House sub 1.5/5 The White House sub was quite basic and lacked flavor. There was minimal taste, and any flavor present was derived from the ham and turkey. Additionally, I asked if the sub could be cut in half the staff declined to do so in a rude manner. This sub was edible but lacked of no flavor if I had to compare it to a sub would be a “boss sub” from pick ‘n save. Overall 2/5 *This establishment may serve better food then what I ordered*

Yup, the reviews are true. This place makes the best subs I've ever had. Wow. I don't know how or why, but their sandwiches are just really good! The restaurant is located inside a gas station, not a very encouraging first impression. However, good things come to those willing to take the risk. This is a proof of that. Subs are very juicy and wet. They come drenched in oil and special seasoning. Subs come in a plastic bag, which you are supposed to eat from. I really liked the Classic, but the White House was also really good.

We first walked in Suburpia on Layton on Saturday around lunchtime and the woman behind the counter was very friendly. Ordered a Gold coast and Miles Standish. Sandwiches were ready quick. The bread was fresh and so was the meat and lettuce tomatoes onions and cheese. Just enough oil. Were delicious 😋

First time coming to this location and I will NEVER return!! I've been going to the Wauwatosa one for decades and NEVER had any issues. Service was always amazing and so is their sandwiches. I got a Davey Jones. I live on the other side of town and when I went to go eat it first I noticed nothing but lettuce and so much dark green I thought they put olives on it, the there was barely any tuna on it. I called and complained, took pics and went back the next day. The manager who was a female was a real delight and wouldn't give me another sandwich like stated over the phone the day I bought it. Said the sandwich looked perfectly fine and it's weighted out. Lol yea weighted out by how much lettuce is put on it. Ridiculous. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU WANT A GOOD SANDWICH AND GOOD SERVIC

Some of the best Italian subs out there and made by people with pay attention and care! The soups are consistently impressive too. Cost is on the lower side compared to other sub joints. Waits are short. Nothing but good vibes from the times I went. It is a takeout joint, but the parking lot is big enough, if yr on lunch or whatever.
