Fresh ingredients, consistent quality food, clean interior. "Rocky" (the owner/operator) is amazing, friendly, warm-hearted and loves chatting with locals and travelers as he makes your sandwich to perfection. Good heart, great food, fair enough prices. Ideal spot to stretch your legs and have lunch in a clean place. If you're heading east, Henderson is also the last genuinely safe place to stop and get lunch or dinner for about 100+ miles, IMO. Very friendly locals in town. Very nostalgic gem, almost like stepping into a time machine, so don't miss it. Very affordable lodging right next door if you're on a long trip and need a longer break from driving, and this Subway has you covered for all your favorite sandwiches. FYI this location doesn't take Subway coupons. Women's bathroom was in disarray. They're probably struggling to find staff like everywhere else. 🫤 Didn't love that they added double cheese and charged us for it when we didn't ask for it. Food was fine, just expensive especially considering our guy did bare minimum of every vegetable.

On my to Hastings I decided to stop in and grab a quick snack. I tried across the street for food but it looked a little concerning. It was a Sunday evening and I had the place to myself. Got the ham and turkey and it was like I was eating at a home subway. Great staff and very nice. I hope to stop on my way back to Omaha because it was very convenient

The gentleman who served us was very patient and kind. service was prompted with a smile and ourselves were made to our desires. including a swap for ham and bacon. Restrooms were clean as was the restaurant

To the short small framed lady working. You are awesome! Great service, despite owners poor skill and lack of care for customers and store policies. Went several times during all buisness hours, night time was the worst time, very dirty when only owner was working.
