Attempted to get information regarding upcoming vaccine availability for school aged daughter with her return to school not even a week away. The woman I spoke with presented the information differently every time I called. 1st call: call back for vaccine availability. 2nd call: only the clinical nurse can provide information regarding vaccines, they are absent, call back tomorrow. 3rd call: who are you and why are you calling for the clinical nurse also you can't simply come in for vaccines, we need your child's shot record in order to set up an appointment. Fortunately, I was able to obtain the shots she needed for school, no thanks to Suffolk Health Department. Yes, I called over 80 times when they were scheduling Covid-19 vaccines at the church. When I finally got through I was told that the 1000 doses had been scheduled. However they did give me an appt. for this morning ( one week later). Gotta say that they were very organized, friendly, professional and efficient. They took in only those with the specific appt. time ( 8:30 am for me), two at a time, physically apart. Took temperature ( with a virtual thingy) checked photo id,etc. then passed us on to the waiting room. Two mins later we were escorted to the individual area for the quick interview( allergies, etc) and then delivered the long awaited shot!😇👏🏼. 15 mins of post shot wait time in another room and then “So long for now. See you same time,same place 4 weeks from now!” Thanks good pe

forget about calling the health department for the vaccine. I started calling on Feb, 4th at 0740 till 1:30pm and I have called over 49 times. The first 2 hours. The voicemail stated to call on the 4th but since then no one has answered.

This place SHAMED a friend of mine who is a breastfeeding mother and told her she wasn't allowed to nurse because they had to protect the other people there?! Protect them from what?!! This is utterly disgusting behavior and they had no legal right to stick their noses in her business!!

Literally called every extension at 10:30 am to see if anyone would answer, and unfortunately nothing. Apparently only able to leave messages on machines and hope they return your call.
