Sugar Bloom Cakery & Coffee

I'm really torn writing this review because the cake itself was beautiful -- it looked very similar to my inspiration photo and photographed nicely. When we first went in to order, the staff was very kind and welcoming, and they even let me try a lemon raspberry cupcake for free, which I appreciated. However, for $650, I expected a much more professional experience. First, they lost my paperwork. Then they had our delivery date wrong, and we were told they had to "squeeze us in" to actually make it happen (which was quite stressful to hear the day before our wedding). On top of that, the flavors were incorrect. I had ordered Victorian Wedding Cake for the bottom 8" tier and Lemon Raspberry for the top 6" tier. The entire cake was lemon raspberry. Beautiful selection of baked goods. The staff was very helpful, answering all my questions about food allergies. The strawberry and cream croissant was perfectly flaky and sweet. The s'mores cookie was rated as "delicious" by my son, a tough critic. So that's a resounding endorsement.

I cannot say enough positive things about Sugarbloom and their team! have been there numerous times over the years and have had nothing but an amazing experience each time! This visit specifically was for a special order cake to celebrate my nieces birthday. Not only did they totally knock it out of the park on design/display but the flavor was phenomenal. We requested red velvet with cream cheese filling. It was so beautiful we almost didn’t want to eat it but so so so glad we did. I would highly recommend anyone trusting them with your next cake and or more! I’ll definitely be ordering my cakes with them from here on out.

I got to discover this bakery through JogDawgs! I got here an hour early before the run just for me to check out the place, and wow it blew me away! As soon as you step inside, you’ll be swept up with pastel colors and a genuine, sincere effort put into the space that invites friendly conversations to blossom over sweet pastries and drinks. All the pastries made me salivate, because of how freshly baked they were and the variety they offered. I’ve been told the churro cake is the most popular, and they were sold out by the time I got there. The next time, I hope to get the churro cake. Tried Sugarbloom Cakery 🍰 and coffee for the first time with my cousins and feel in Love. The lavender cupcake with the cookie butter chai was absolutely amazing my cousins got the cake pops 5 star ⭐️ will definitely be coming back here again with my mom so she can see what’s she’s been missing out on.😇
