Sugar Fixé Pâtisserie

Cake tasting was one of the parts of wedding planning I looked forward to most, and Sugar Fixe did not disappoint! Working with Corrie, their Wedding & Cake Director, was such a smooth process. She guided us through flavors and sizing at our tasting, quickly followed up with a clear proposal, and even created edible butterflies to match our invitations and ensure the planned design matched our “vision.” On the wedding day, Corrie personally delivered the cake, added the florist’s flowers and butterflies, and the result was absolutely beautiful. Best of all, the wedding cake was delicious; our guests raved about the lemon cake with raspberry preserves and vanilla buttercream. We already know we’ll be ordering a smaller version for our first anniversary!

My partner and I have just recently moved to Oak Park and I have been looking for a good coffee place with no luck. I pass by here on my way to work every day and decided to try it out. It is single handedly the best coffee I’ve ever had. Hot, iced, whatever you get feels like a warm hug. The atmosphere is amazing along with the people working there. So far I’ve had the Pumpkin Pie Latte, Chocolate Ganache, and The Miel. I’ve loved them all so much that I can’t even pick a favorite. If you’re in the area this place is definitely worth checking out, and if not, it’s worth the travel!

This is a secret hidden gem! Best chocolate croissants I have ever had. Since becoming vegan, it is the one thing I find myself dreaming about. The chai latte is also wonderful. Just simply walking past this coffee shop, you can smell the baked goods drawing you in for a sweet treat.

Sugar Fixé did the most amazing custom cake for a Mozzarella Stick theme birthday! Not only was the cake delicious, the mozzarella sticks looked real. Cannot recommend Corrie and her team enough!

Stopped by to pick up chocolate croissants and regular coffee to go. The people behind the counter were very nice and offered good conversation while I waited for my coffee. The croissant was DELICIOUS buttery and flaky and seemed very fresh. The coffee was strong and also fresh. Totally recommend!
