SUKI: Japanese Hibachi, Ramen Noodles, and Tea House

Great hole in the wall Japanese hibachi. We were here for a hibachi dinner. The cook entertained us and cooked good food. The steak was perfect. Chicken was tender. Shrimp and salmon were very tasty. Great service. We made reservations but saw a lot of people just walk in.

Suki is delicious Japanese food! Small but cozy & clean restaurant. Great food & friendly service. They have a nice size menu & it’s not overwhelming so it’s easy to order. Our entrées came out piping hot, so delicious and flavorful.Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for years because the food is consistently flavorful and satisfying. One of the main reasons I’ve continued to return is the availability of vegetarian and vegan options, which can be hard to come by at ramen spots. As a vegan, I’ve always appreciated that they offer multiple plant-based ramen choices. That said, I’ve never been impressed by the service—it’s generally been mediocre—but the quality of the food made up for it. However, I feel compelled to share a recent experience that has deeply affected my trust in this establishment. During my last visit, I ordered a vegan ramen and requested a substitution for a different type of noodle. My husband and I ordered food from here for the first time (pickup). When I entered, there was almost nowhere to stand and nobody at the front podium. After waiting for 10 minutes, a woman came over and asked for the phone number from the order, stopped me halfway through, and then cleaned the hibachi counter, sat a group who was waiting, took drink orders, made drinks, and took food orders, but never returned to the front. There are now 4 people waiting for pickup orders. More time passes and a man comes a dumps a number of takeout orders on an open table and walks away. The four of us start scouring the bags to find our orders. It was chaos. Get home (it’s a 5 minute drive) and my food is ICE cold. We will never order from here again.

Cute seating available for groups and the food is great. Extensive menu. Appetizers were also great. Limited alcohol options but what is offered is very tasty.
