Sum’na Eat Soul Food Truck

We love to try one of a kind restaurants and Sum’na eat is TOP TIER!!! It is obvious the owners/chefs pour their hearts and souls into this amazing soul food. Even our kids would love to make the trip back (we live an hour away) just to come back!

BEST RESTAURANT IN JOPLIN! The owner St Louis and her side kick Lil Bit is awesome! Food is AMAZING, customer service is spot on. This restaurant is a MUST in Joplin. I drive 2 hours to eat here. Do yourself a favor and eat here for some good flavor!

We went to Sum'ns Eat for dinner, it was great! They were so friendly and had a great menu with lots of choices. I decided to try the meatloaf... AMAZING!! If they have the meatloaf I will probably not get anything different! Not your standard meatloaf. It has a roast beef like flavor and comes with an amazing gravy. I also had the white rice with the same gravy, so good! The butter corn had a unique flavor too, also great! Others in my party had the chicken rice soup, fried okra, and onion rings... no complaints, all compliments. The sweet cornbread was good too! The place was clean and they were super friendly. I highly recommend and will certainly go again!

This was my first time trying Sum’na Eat and it is delicious. I had never tried any collard greens before and let me tell you, these were absolutely delicious. I had the catfish and okra, both of which were great as well. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

First time coming to Sum’na Eat in Joplin MO and it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious food! Great customer service the owner had such a great vibe and taste in music. That catfish tastes so good makes you wanna slap yo momma! 😂 My guy got the meatloaf, green beans, and Mac n cheese. I got the fried catfish, corn bread, smashed potato with cheese added gravy, baked beans like I’ve never had em before! Five stars, would recommend!! Definitely coming back for a late night date again. They’re open later than 10pm! 10:00pm-3:00am for any late night eaters 😁
