Sunny Cove

Fog-Kissed Jewel" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ In Twin Lakes lies a hidden place, Where ocean waves the shoreline trace. Sunny Cove, though named for light, Wears mist and fog both day and night. Even summer’s brightest days May hide behind a silver haze. Yet in that chill, there’s peace to find, A slower pace, a calmer mind. The cliffs stand guard, the seabirds call, The cove feels private, snug, and small. Cool sand beneath your wandering feet, The ocean’s song is soft and sweet. So come for calm, not just the sun, And let the sea and sky be one. Five stars I give, for beauty’s grace, This fog-kissed, treasured, gentle place.

No amenities, so it's not a good choice unless you live nearby or are staying at one of the numerous motels or rentals. There's limited street parking. But there's a cozy sandy beach between two cliffs and a good overlook to see the rest of the bay. Because it's somewhat sheltered from the bigger surf, this is a good place for beginners and kids to play in the water. Also, if you need any snacks or supplies, there's a Dollar Tree across East Cliff Drive at 15th as well as a panaderia with delicious baked goods and tamales.

Love playing with my frisbee and my fiance here. Also this is one of my favorite canvases to create sacred geometry on the low ride wet sands. Please remember to Pack Your Trash and be nice to the crowd that frequent here they are my buddies. Much love peace and blessings!!!-

Great spot, mixed crowd from families to fisherman to college students. Be sure to respect the beach and pack your trash.

This place is a lot of things that a beach is in Santa Cruz. I want to ask everyone to please be thoughtful and considerate of the human beings who need to call it home while they survive the incredible ups and downs in life. It is SO expensive to live here, please have some understanding.
