Food was good and have been going for years. Had to 1 star review on everything but food to emphasize the issue. Food great, service rude and slightly incompetent. Call over the phone for the special of the day: bbq chicken and beef. Comes with drink if its the daily special. Ask if chicken can be subbed for katsu. They say yes for a a dollar. I get there, no drink with my meal. They argue that its katsu chicken and beef not bbq chicken and beef even though over the phone the same man talking to me had said its still a special with a dollar premium. They gave a whole cash refund over just giving me a drink. Fine with me bc I would've given the drink to make the sale but hey each business is different. Would've came back another time if he didnt laugh in my face 😒

Was only given one short rib and couldn’t chew the meat. The shrimp was weird shapely as well. should have shared a photo I’m disappointed. I paid $15 and change for a mixed plate short rib and half fried shrimp…ONO is better a they arnt that good (Sticking to what I know LNL)!

I’ve tried this place twice so far and both times I was thoroughly disappointed. The first time I went here, I ordered the island fire chicken. Not a great taste at all. Best part of the meal was the macaroni salad. Second time I had a combo beef and shrimp plate that was mediocre at best and was charged a bit extra as they don’t have that combo listed.. why? For $15, Beef was tough/chewy, and was served a tiny portion of rice (for my standards). The shrimp was okay; deep fried and a good portion. Definitely my favorite part of the meal, especially with tartare sauce. Still did not make up for the taste of the beef. I hope you guys make some changes to the quality of your beef meat. Thank god I’m going to Hawaii next week and can eat GOOD Hawaiian food. Probably won’t be back. Change my

My brother showed me this place. Really good food, good people, and traffic is low for some reason. Come here before everyone else finds out about it. Good hawaiian selection, and some off-menu specials.

I'm a shrimp lover and when I come here I usually get the island fire shrimp. It's really good. They would give rice and macaroni salad with that but I prefer all rice which is an option you can choose. The shrimp isn't that huge but they give a reasonable amount portion size, it has alot of chopped onions, pretty tasty, and it is a little spicy but if you like a little spice in your life then it shouldn't be too bad for you. I highly recommend trying this out if you really like shrimp and spicy food. Had some of the crabcheese wonton things it's not bad as well and the sauce that they gave with it is not what I like but you guys might like it. Oh and fyi the wait can be a little long when it's busy but usually it's like 10-15 minutes for the food to be ready
