Sunny's Diner | Tualatin - Nyberg Woods

We've lived nearby for 30+ years but only discovered Sunny's recently. They're fantastic! The French toast is incredible, they make their own bread/toast, and the corned beef hash has so much meat I suspect they use a whole brisket in each serving.

We visited for the first time a couple of days ago and were glad we did! Wendy had the breakfast sandwich with onion straws and it was delicious. I had the buttermilk pancake breakfast. The pancakes were made from scratch and were great. I chose bacon for a side and received a generous serving of thick- cut bacon. We will definitely be back and will bring friends with us! The service was very attentive and the atmosphere was very relaxed. By the way, they also bake fresh bread for sale here (You walk into the diner to the smell of fresh baked bread!) along with LARGE cinnamon rolls!

I ordered the country fried steak and eggs with 2 eggs fried over hard, and buttermilk pancakes everything made from scratch and tasted terrific. Sierra was so kind and attentive, she constantly made her rounds with coffee and made everyone feel welcome and cared for. This is the kind of place that makes food that seems like it comes out of a family kitchen. Real food, real people, and really, really good. I’m gonna have to try the sandwiches next time, they make their own bread which is always a good sign of a good sandwich.

Delish! We were very pleasantly surprised on the potion size and the quality of the meal. Definitely would come back if this was close to where we lived. Server was great and has a great attitude. All around happy customer.

Incredible’. Now imagine it with a French accent. Yes! The food is that good. I absolutely enjoyed the Denver omelette and opted for a pancake. The omelette was “big” and definitely filling. Served hot on a bed of hash browns that were perfectly crisped. The pancake was made from scratch and let’s hope you are carb loading because it’s a mouthful.
