*Ive updated my review. This place is absolutely amazing. 5STARS This is my "First Impression" review. The highest I give these reviews are a three because it's my first time and I have not yet been there at least 3x. Let's get into it! I was in need of homemade breakfast food that would be available before 8am. I typed "early breakfast food" into google maps and they were the first to appear! The lady who took my order over the phone was extremely nice, the diner sits on the corner, perfect spot and convenient parking on the side in case you're looking to get in and out like me. A little Oasis on the Upper East side. Went for breakfast Saturday morning. Alan attended to us. Alan was very personable with excellent customer service skills. If get to read this Alan, sorry we had to skip dessert! But the Chocolate Festival was a blast. Thank you again for your great service.

First time here. 18% tip added for eat ins. NO DECAFF COFFEE !!! They don't offer it. Plastic knife & fork. Looks like they do a lot of take out. In on a Wednesday at 10:45 for breakfast. Not busy. Sat at counter. ORDERED : Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, home fries & toast. $9.99 + tax + 18% = $12.61 Toast was just warm bread. Everything else was good. Good price for the area. Will probably go back.

I went to Sunnyside for breakfast. I had scrambled eggs, sausage and toast. The food wasn't nothing special. The eggs and sausage was basic and the toast was a bit soggy. There's a fee you have to pay regardless if you dine in or takeout. Yes you are charged for takeout. Never again for food my little sister could have cooked.

This is a cozy neighborhood diner style restaurant frequented by the locals, and those consumers who visit the convenience store, and laundramat in the small strip mall. It is small but they have a steady flow of clients and take out delivery. On this day two cooks were partially visible as they pushed out orders with ease. Within minutes from sitting a waitress had taken my order and my coffee was served. A short time later my order was presented to me. The order was correct, and the food was hot, tasty, and generous. The price was definitely lower for comparable breakfast food than in other area restaurants. It's worth another trip to try a non- breakfast item.
