Sunrise Dan Pearl Library

The library is a good size. There are many activities for adults and children. Parking can be an issue at times.

I just joined this library and am so glad I did. It is well organized and has a very good selection for a small library. I really like the staff there as well. There are so many resources I am just exploring.

This library is managed by Broward County but is located in the City of Sunrise Complex; the complex has the public safety building, city hall, senior center, and Civic center. Parking was spacious and staff were friendly. The library was large and organized. There are many events, just check out the website for details. There are study rooms, youth service program room, and meeting room. There are large collections of foreign print materials, CDs, and film. There plenty of reading materials; I love their paperless books via the Libby app. We specifically went there for the children's section which is on the smaller side. There was a small Lego set and some chairs. They offer many baby and toddler programs. Overall, a great library with many resources for people from all walks of life.

I haven't spent a lot of time in there but I've been in it a few times to pick up books on reserve. I've walked around the place to check it out when picking up these books. This library is very attractive inside, very clean and bright. I would spend more time there, if I had the need to. The library staff I've encountered there have been super friendly and helpful. The only reason not giving it 5 stars is I don't spend much time in there, pretty much in and out. If I ever spend more time there and have more contact with staff, I will give more input. Also the parking can be tricky. One time I went to pick up a book and could not find a parking space available anywhere. I mean there was not one open space. I was told the nearby buildings sometimes have events and it clogs up the l
