Sunrise Express

I LOVE the breakfast sandwiches here. The North End doesn’t have a ton of spots for a simple breakfast sandwich but Sunrise Express makes a delicious sandwich (on a Hawaiian roll too). I tried the rodeo and my friend had a bacon egg & cheese with a hash brown (You can add hash browns or onion rings). They also have lunch sandwiches and drinks like coffee, matcha, and hojicha! Definitely worth stopping by for breakfast and lunch.

Bold move. Trying to pry a Bostonian away from their morning Dunkin routine is almost impossible, but this place might actually cause a localized defection. To be honest, breakfast scene around here has been notoriously underwhelming, but this place offers a massive upgrade without being pretentious. No experimental or weird toppings, just classic combinations made with better ingredients. I tried the classic SEC (sausage, egg, and cheese) and the Rodeo (SEC plus an onion ring and BBQ sauce), and both were fantastic. Every component, from the sausage patty and fried egg to the brioche bun, felt a tier above what you typically get. And with most sandwiches priced under $10, it was still very reasonable. Tried this new spot for a quick breakfast before heading into work. I tried the rodeo sandwich and matcha which was amazing! Quick service and friendly staff!

Great price, fast, and a perfect treat before a work day. The thick cut bacon is a good differentiator vs the typical floppy, chewy bacon you get in a BEC. My friend had the Cali breakfast sandwich, which they raved about. Really good matcha made in-house as well, definitely would recommend!

Such a convenient breakfast spot in the North End to grab a quick bite! Got the turkey club last time and the combination of bacon and turkey literally made my entire morning- will def come back to try more items off the menu!
