Sunset Bagels

I stopped in for a bacon, egg, and cheese, and it absolutely hit the spot. This family‑owned spot has such a welcoming vibe—you can really see how much they care about their customers. Even their kids were there enjoying breakfast, which just added to the cozy, homey feel. The place was spotless, and I only wish I had snapped a picture of my food… but it disappeared way too fast. Always love discovering hidden gems like this.

I had a good experience here. The man at the counter was very friendly and my BEC was a good price for $7 and change. They have so much more than bagels. A bigger menu ranging from sandwiches to wraps, burgers, paninis and desserts. The bagel is a nice medium between dense and light/fluffy. Next time i am in the area i will come here again. Would recommend.

The cafe and grill is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. I have taken food from this place for many years. Food is consistently well-prepared. Many people order online and receive it delivered. Some tables inside for eating but it is mostly a place to order food to go. Wide variety of food options. Customers can have a salad prepared with their choice of various ingredients. Sandwiches, paninis and burgers are available. They have various breakfast options that include sandwiches, omelets and pancakes. The bagels are very good. Customers can also order tuna, egg salad and whitefish salad which are all excellent. Cold cuts including different cheeses can also be ordered to go. Friendly staff who are helpful.

The girl working the counter, Jasmin, is consistently disrespectful and has an extremely unprofessional attitude every time we order. The way customers are treated here is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on this location. When your neighborhood go-to breakfast spot becomes the one place you avoid because of how you’re treated, that says everything.

Since these owners the food has come a long way. The sandwiches and grill has a very distinct taste and are put together with care and consistency. Have been trying to eat here since the original owners. Getting breakfast here now on and off regularly I highly recommend you try them out!
