Sunshine Vegan Eats

The food and service are absolutely fantastic. The owner and chef is a lovely woman inside and out. The fried chicken (mushrooms) is seasoned to perfection. The portions are hearty. This place is a 10. It's a small, down-home restaurant, so take-out might be necessary as seating is limited. I highly recommend this restaurant for everyone who loves food for the soul. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. I would fly to Buffalo from my home across the US to eat at Sunshine Vegan if I could, every week. If you are in Buffalo, this restaurant is a must for everyone, whether vegan or non-vegan.

So so happy to be able to finally try food I’ve never eaten before. The shrimp were delicious! Texture was very gummy but I’m not sure how real shrimp taste anyway. The special carrot tuna was probably my favorite. It was very well seasoned and the chips are homemade. The pastelito was delicious as was the cheesesteak (which I got in a wrap) . Great immitation food without directly copying the taste of the original. I can’t wait to go back and try more options! Only thing is I wish there was a nutritional menu that had the calorie count on it.

The best food and the staff is so kind!! Everyone should try this place - vegan or not. Everything we ordered was excellent, especially the spinach and artichoke dip with homemade chips.

THE BEST OMG SO GOOD. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR GOOD VEGAN FOOD IT IS THIS. So far I’ve only eaten the ribs and Mac and cheese but they are incredible! I’m not one of those people that craves meat but these I will crave until I get them again! And the Mac and cheese is the best I’ve ever had!!!

It was a cold and snowy day when I stopped into Sunshine Vegan Eats. But within minutes, I felt like I was at a cookout on a beautiful summer afternoon. I've been vegan for a few years, but I never would have thought to use fresh oyster mushrooms for fried "chicken." The texture and flavor work perfectly. Brilliant! The greens had that rich and smoky flavor with no need for pork. Stewed until meltingly tender. Excellent macaroni and cheese, too. And their jalapeno cornbread is right out of a dream. They went above and beyond with their banana pudding. The crumbled wafers were almost caramelized, and I think I even tasted a hint of nutmeg. Great music playing over the speakers, too. I heard some tunes that took me back at least 20 years and made the experience even more special. I'll
