⸻ I had the pleasure of eating at Sunshine’s Wings and Catfish, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and the service was warm and attentive. The menu has a great variety, but the stars of the show are definitely the wings and catfish. The wings were cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor in every bite. The catfish was seasoned just right, with that golden crunch that let you know it was made fresh. Portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted homemade with real care put into it. My husband & I found this little gem while out in Forney, to say the food was delicious is an understatement. The catfish was fried & seasoned well, my husband said it was the best catfish he’d ever had. Owner was sweet & there another lady there that checked up on us as well. Reading the reviews, you can see Ms. Sunshine loves what she does. Food is always consistent & portions are huge, as you can see it didn’t stand a chance against us lol. Ms Sunshine is so lovely and a hard worker - even though she was quite busy she made sure to check on me as I dined in. Her love and passion shines thru with her food. I got the 2 PC Catfish and they're perfectly seasoned! And they're so big I saved the other one to be part of my dinner later! They're juicy, flaky, and just some of the best catfish I've eaten. You know it's good when you don't need sauces to do the heavy lifting (though next time I really want to try the crack sauce!) Definitely a great meal and I hope to come regularly. You won't regret coming here!

My first visit to Sunshine’s. I usually travel to Red Oak, Lancaster or Dallas to get my fish. I didn’t feel like driving today. (It was so HOT!) I love the set up of the place and the service was great. Great music! My reason for the 3 stars. *This is my preference!* When I ordered my food, I asked for my fish to be fried “well” like in well done! Extra crispy! Because they only had fillets I knew that they would probably be large fillets! Usually, when I order fish I order strips or nuggets or something because I don’t like thick pieces of fish only because most of the time it’s not cooked well to my liking. I came in on Sunday while i was delivering for my lunch break this is the best catfish Ive ever had it was fresh not greasy like other places and fried to perfection the fries were great too. The wings were really good better than any big company name and the ranch was amazing it had a hint of sweetness to it best ranch ive ever had . Food was cooked fresh and homemade im definitely coming back 💯
