Super Pollo

Great chicken and the chafing rice is amazing. But the service is also amazing. The workers made sure we was enjoying our dinner. We felt so comfortable the sangria is delicious . A must go

The chaulafan is excellent. This is an Ecuadorian variant of Chinese fried rice (the Peruvian version is called arroz chaufa). Comes with a generous portion of shrimp and plantains. Massive portion size and very delicious!

Absolutely unacceptable. We were charged $1.25 per to-go container simply because we didn’t finish our meal. That’s not just unreasonable — it feels predatory and unethical. Customers should never be punished for not finishing their food, and to add insult to injury, this charge was not disclosed anywhere on the menu or before we asked for boxes. If you want to talk about poor customer service and lack of transparency, this is it. Charging people extra to take home food they already paid for is disgusting and borderline illegal. I’ve supported many local businesses in Ridgewood, but this kind of behavior gives the entire neighborhood a bad name. Super Pollo, do better.

Came for the lunch special- it was delicious and such a crazy good deal for the area. Perfectly cooked juicy chicken ( and not the hormone pumped 20 lb monstrosity kind) salad, fresh veggies, homemade lemonade and chips.. everything such good quality and fresh down to the last detail. Our waitress Abigail was super nice.

Their food is good don’t get me wrong. But recently their portions are getting very small. It’s not fair. Empanada was 2.75 for not even the size of my finger. I also ate there last week and they gave me a few spoons of rice and one small chicken with a peice of lettuce for almost 15$. It’s too pricey for small portions.
