Superica Battery

I love this place, the only item I've ever ordered from this place is the shrimp tacos here they are amazing along with the black beans and rice and refried beans, there's salsa is also amazing it comes out hot. This is my go to spot for some really good food.

This establishment of the Tex-Mex persuasion is not, I confess, wholly aligned with my natural inclinations. Yet I must admit, their nachos do make a diverting little snack, fit to occupy one’s hands whilst one debates whether the cocktails are genius or grievous error. I find the branch at Inman Park altogether preferable to that dreary outpost at the Battery, where the atmosphere is devoid of spirit. The lighting, too, is of such a flat and uninspiring character that is actively discouraging merriment. Still, I persist, for there are worse fates than a plate of decent nachos and a rather questionable but not a bad drink.

Pretty good but definitely needs some work on the food and a bit overpriced for the quality and amount. Atmosphere was awesome though and service was good all be it a little slow and forgetful. I spent a bit over $120 after food, tax and tip. No alcoholic drinks bought. The tortillas were so over cooked I just raked everything out of my tacos al carbon, the fajita steak was nice and the onions were amazing. They forgot my rice and beans somehow and it took a bit to finally get them after talking to 3 different waiters. Do not get the queso it's extremely bland, no one at my table of four liked it. Delicious food, awesome margarita, loved the guacamole and the queso! The servers were excellent. Atmosphere is 4 due to the high noise level and the bathroom wasn't very clean. The chicken nachos were small but absolutely covered in cheese and toppings. The grilled chicken was the best I've ever had, tasty and moist.

We fueled up for tonight's Braves/Dodgers showdown at Superica at The Battery, and it was a fantastic choice. We were seated almost immediately at 5:00, which was perfect timing. Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. I loved my chicken tacos El carbon. The flour tortillas were soft and fresh, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. While the green sauce was a bit too spicy for me, that's just a personal preference. My wife's hard shell tacos were also delicious, but the real surprise was the rice and beans. She's usually not a big fan of those sides, but Superica's version was so good she cleaned her plate!
