Superica Buckhead

Superica was very good but pricey for what it was! If you get the fajitas, I definitely recommend making macho as the cheese was a huge plus for me and made the food delicious. They also have veggie fajitas for anyone who is vegan! Drinks are great here and I recommend getting a reservation but the wait was only 30 minutes when we got there (bar seating is open seating)

Decor was fun but the host seemed grumpy so we felt sort of unwelcome at the start. The various salsas were very yummy (I particularly liked the green one in the bottle), and the flour tortillas were legit. We had steak fajitas and the Superica salad and both were delicious. Hard pass on the pear with rosemary agua fresca. It seemed like literal Jumex from a box. The music choices were odd too and kind of loud - alternative rock, 70s folk, bluegrass once. It created a weird ambience we didn't exactly enjoy. But that might be someone's thing. Bathrooms were clean and smelled nice. But probably won't go back.

This place used to be the best Tacos in Atlanta. Used to be genuine steak and hand made tortillas. They used to be long enough to fill the take out container length wise. Shrinkflation is real at Superica. The tacos now fit the same container width wise. They're about half the size they were before but the price is still $28. What makes me the most peeved when restaurants do this is they actually think we're not going to notice.

Superica is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Atlanta! I like that it is a little more upscale than your typical Mexican place. The enchiladas are SO good and great to split if you get appetizers as well. The skinny marg is my favorite. Definitely on the pricier side, but it is worth it. Love the atmosphere and also love to sit at the bar!

I absolutely LOVE Superica! All of the Atlanta locations are great but the Buckhead one is the best. Amazing food and great staff. Best margarita in the city and if you're not a huge fan of mexican food, try the salad with grilled chicken. I'm not a salad kind of girl but I adore this salad! Superica is always my first choice on any night of the week
