Surcheros - Albany, GA

Man. How refreshing. Nice place. Clean. Employees seem to appreciate their job. Nice experience man. What a gem here in Albany somehow. Most place go down hill fast. This was my first time trying and loved it. So good. Only issue is I’m probably gonna have to get double meat every time. But man. So good. Much love from me. Please stay good in this town.

Emily made sure this was the worst experience we ever had at Surcheros. Tonight my son was returning from MEPs in Jacksonville from his initial enlistment in the US Navy and we stopped in for a quick bite for him. Ms. Emily made sure to scrap the bottom of the rice, instead of asking us to wait for fresh rice. Then she fished out some pinto beans from the pinto soup because it was probably a teaspoon of beans in there. After it was fixed they brought out fresh rice and Emily stated that we have to pay for an extra serving. I ask her why when you just gave my son burnt old stuck to the side rice? We paid for it and Ms Holly was very pleasant at the register. I can’t believe $15 for THIS “loaded” burrito bowl…garbage! Me and my wife have been coming since the very first day they open

This is my fav spot to eat fresh and light. Lindsay and the manager are the sweetest. They went above give my an even better experience. Honestly I haven't had a bad experience yet. Lobby is clean and the food is always good!

The service Today was horrible & unsanitary..it took 3 times before my order came correct !! The sauces were WATERED down .. the chips were burned, NEVER COMING BACK im disappointed. Surcheros was WAY BETTER THEN IT WAS NOW !

The food and service were fine on an early Saturday evening, but the restaurant was filthy. It looked as though the floor, tables, and booths hadn’t been cleaned. There was trash piled on top of the trash receptacle. It would make me worry about the general kitchen sanitation and the restrooms.
