Surcheros Fresh Mex

This was my first tyme visiting this eatery. I was totally blown away by the menu they offer. This is by far the best build your own restaurant I've had the opportunity to dine. The dining area is very large and cozy. It can fill up fast. Especially during lunch. Service is good. The variety of add ons is great. The line moves pretty fast. That's as long as you don't get in line behind someone like me. Awed by the menu and don't know what you want because I couldn't order everything. I decided to order the burrito bowl with the chips on the side. You can get chicken, beef, steak or pork added if you want meat. I added the brown rice, spicey jalapenos, purple onions, tomatoes, and queso cheese. I definitely wanted to add more but the line began to grow longer behind me. Then I topped it off

The staff is friendly, helpful, and quite accommodating. I ordered a grilled veggie burrito 🌯 and really enjoyed it. It was our first time here, but we will be back! You can have the veggies grilled if you want, and then have the burrito grilled too. Chips are free, and they have different options for salsa, including garlic salsa. Great people, great food, great space!

I only go to this location during lunch and each time I am hoping "the" lunch crew is there. I do not know anyone's name and I should because they are a very good team and I can immediately tell when I walk in the door if they are there or not. They are all very attentive to me as an in-store customer while also fulfilling online orders. I have never had my order wrong at this location. The food is always fresh and they make everything exactly as I like it. When "the" lunch crew is not there, the food is not as good, the space is not as clean, and the atmosphere is just not the same. I will make it my business to get the names of the "the" lunch crew so I can update my review to thank them by name.

What the heck happened to this place? A few years ago it had great service, great food, and the restaurant was always so clean. Now the service is rough and the food is a tiny amount of semi-edible substances. The most concerning part is that the restaurant is absolutely filthy these days. The dining room hasn’t felt the soft caress of a mop in quite some time and it’s straight up stinky in there.

Over $100 dollars on dinner pick up and clearly no one actually read the orders as they were submitted. Taco's on flour tortillas instead of soft corn, completely didn't include the large queso that was ordered. No grilled veggies on the bowl - but they are shown on the order. Called 2 different times to ask for a credit, left message because no one will answer. I don't like being shorted and get no respinse for a resolution. (Check #160 on 12/26, 6:21 pm)
