Surfside Seafood

Beautiful views and delicious food, what more could you ask for? Wife and I came for dinner. Not many people during dinner hour, so not a good sign. Ordered at the counter, got our beers and then found a seat. Even though it was a seafood joint, I ordered a cheeseburger and the wife got fish & chips. Prices were a wee high, but you get a large amount of food. The cheeseburger was juicy (not greasy) and delicious. The fish (2 pollocks) we're huge, a good 8" long. They were also delicious and not greasy just golden crispy like the fries. It's worth the trip and you get a lovely view of the ocean.

I had the morning off and decided to visit Port Hueneme. I was stationed there in the early '70s. It has really changed since then. The pier and its associated park are new since that time. I stopped in to have a small lunch and was impressed withe the quality of the food. It runs as a kind of lunch counter with table seating.

Just had Surfside Seafood at Port Hueneme Beach and wow… fresh, flavorful, and right by the ocean breeze! Fun fact: Surfside has been a local favorite for years, serving up the catch of the day just steps from the sand. Nothing beats seafood by the sea.

Wasn't to bad. I dont know if it was just me, but thought maybe fish could of been cooked longer. Shrimp and fries were good. 1st time here. Id come back.

Excellent spot. Food is pricey but you get a decent amping of food. Clam chowder bowl def worth it!.... staff friendly.. nice vibe by the ocean side.
