Sushi Brokers

Always a favorite place to grab a bite with family and friends when in downtown Gilbert. Highly recommend going during happy hour. Same high quality food for a great value price. Especially for those who love their sushi rolls. Highly recommend the Chimichanga Roll - Spicy crab mix, avocado and crab stick, tempura battered and topped with sriracha, spicy mayo, eel sauce and scallions.

I have been to Sushi Brokers in Gilbert and Phoenix plenty of times but this visit was really disappointing. The gyoza tasted old the roll was oddly warm and fishy and the server never checked in even though we barely ate anything. The chili garlic edamame was the only decent part so I do not think I will be coming back anytime soon.

Walked in, waited awhile to be greeted… first impression is a big deal and it lacked. Service wasn’t attentive, food was mediocre. The place wasn’t busy at all and $18 for one sushi roll? Are they out of their minds?! That’s just absolutely absurd. Plus extra charges for some eel sauce.. never had a sushi place do that before. Food wasn’t all that great either. Disappointed.

Unfortunately, I am here writing to you from the bench at downtown Gilbert. It appears that this establishment is under new management, please correct me if I am wrong. This food was… definitely something. I ordered a California roll and it would be safe to assume that it would contain crab salad mix, as most California rolls do. However, this particular California roll had an imitation crab stick…. I have certainly had better California rolls from my local Sprouts grocery store. Nonetheless, the first red flag should have been the volcano chicken. This dish should have been called buffalo chicken because it the chicken was DRENCHED in buffalo sauce… I am quite disappointed that I have to write this review as I am longtime fan of sushi brokers but all good things must come to end.

This place is one of the best in town in my opinion. I usually visit twice a month and have great fresh sushi and great service every time.
