Sushi Palace

Went here today for some takeout sushi. It’s a typical sushi joint and very similar to other restaurants in the area, I think most have the same sushi menu. I ordered peanut avocado, vegetable roll, and tofu skin roll. Peanut avocado I would give an 8/10. Sushi pieces are kind of small but about card was fresh and peanuts were crushed which makes it easier to eat. Vegetable roll I would also give an 8/10. It had avocado, cucumber, and carrots. Very green. Tofu skin I would give a 7/10 only because the tofu is kind of sweet and I don’t really like savory food being sweet. This place has a good amount of vegetarian options and the service is nice and fast. Prices are typical in the area and unfortunately everything is a little pricey these days. Overall I would recommend and come back.

I passed by the area multiple times because Yestercade is right across the restaurant. I always see it packed during dinner through the glass windows, so I came to try out the all-you-can-eat option to see what all the hype is about, and I'm glad I did. I came in earlier during the day on Friday at around 5:30 p.m. to avoid the long wait during the typical dinner rush. I was seated within 5 minutes by a kind waitress, Temmy, whose name I had the pleasure to learn the name of learning. Another waitress got my drinks. The all-you-can-eat menu was extensive and I wanted to make sure I understood the rules and what some of the items were, so I called over a waitress but she didn't seem to understand what I was saying, so they got Temmy to come over. My favorite all you can eat place!! Very consistent quality and the service is efficient. I come here very often and it is well worth the price if you bring your appetite. The tables are taken up quickly, so I prefer to come a bit earlier. Absolutely recommend!

The sushi here is truly outstanding. Each roll is made fresh with top-tier ingredients, and the flavors come through perfectly. It’s easily one of the most impressive sushi spots in Somerville, and I look forward to returning again.

At the reccomendation of my partner, who had previously dine at Sushi Palace, I accompanied her for a late afternoon meal. The food was good. The service was equally syncopated and nice. Outside of a slight bit of confusion about the menu options, the experience was rather nice. Ms. Amy was our wait person. She was very helpful, patient, pleasant to engage with and her service helped to make my first visit rather lovely and her service left me wanting to return.
