Sushi Park

Sashimi Moriawase platter was great for two people to share and enjoy a wide variety of sashimi. Butter fish was amazing and pickled daikon so refreshing!

I have been going to Sushi Park for 15 years since the first month they opened. This is my go to sushi spot throughout the entire Bay Area. I've tried countless other restaurants over the years and still feel nothing else compares to Sushi Park. The quality of fish is outstanding. Each roll, sauce, and arrangement is created by the staff. The service has always been amazing as well. They come to check on you regularly to get refills of water even when they are crowded. The head sushi chef Andy is also an amazing artist. He did the two paintings on the right wall as you come in!! I will be going to this restaurant for the rest of my life. Finding great sushi is always an adventurous journey… While Sushi Park didn’t quite hit the mark, I can’t rave enough about the service! The ladies who work here are so nice and are very attentive to all of their guests. My twin boys (4) were treated so well and were even given a belated birthday Mango Mochi Ice Cream. So while the food wasn’t the highlight, it does not mean it wasn’t good, it was decent. Based on food alone, it’s a solid 6.5/10, but when you factor in the staff, I’d give them a 8.5/10, with the staff as the highlight!

Average. No a/c, as many small eateries in Oakland. Saving energy vs comfort of dining. The weather in San Francisco cool, a/c isn’t really necessary. Food is average as well. The neighborhood feels calm and neat but is there is a bullet at the store next door?
