Sushi Teri Lompoc

I’m from Japan, so I have a good sense of authentic flavors. Unfortunately, the food here was not close to authentic at all. The ramen and the ginger pork had almost no flavor. Very disappointing, especially since the bill came out to over $73. Definitely not worth it. The waitress was nice but seemed new and didn’t know how to take my order. She kept going back and forth to make sure she got it right, which was a little frustrating. There also didn’t seem to be anyone with experience in authentic Japanese cooking, which may explain why the flavors were lacking. They definitely need more training, and I mean that in the most respectful way possible.

This restaurant stands out in the area as having warm, welcoming table service and consistently great sushi. Coming from Santa Barbara, I knew Sushi Teri as a casual lunch spot but here in Lompoc, Sushi Teri is the best dinner spot in town. Their fish is always fresh tasting and they often have tasty cuts of tuna or salmon belly. For that reason, we prefer their nigiri and sashimi but also enjoy a mission roll or girl’s night out roll on occasion. The sushi combo dinner with soup and salad is an amazing value and has a variety of fish. Their spicy ramen with SB craft ramen noodles is also the best ramen in town, in my humble opinion. Excellent every time. Consistent. Best sushi spot in Lompoc. Also has Ramen. Staff is always great and the atmosphere is perfect for a small town sushi spot. Good seating. Couple TVs to watch the game and a sushi bar. White Dragon, Spicy Tuna Avocado, and Salmon Nigiri. Great selection of Sake, as well. 👌🏼

We ordered one sushi roll, and the taste was quite basic — it lacked flavor and depth. The noodles were better, packed with vegetables and slightly sweet, but we managed to balance the sweetness with their hot sauce. Service was very good. The staff was respectful, accommodating, and made the experience pleasant. Overall, the food was average, but the hospitality stood out.

Excellent service, great quality food, consistently respectful staff, and incredible value. It can be tough to find such a combo in the restaurant industry these days, but Sushi Teri of Lompoc nails it every time. I’ve been here dozens of times, and I’m certain to return. Look no further: This is the place for sushi.
