Very professional bakery specializing in cakes and cupcakes, that also has beautiful cookies and birthday candles. They do their original recipes very well and have friendly staff. The decorating and their ability to cut pretty slices is also impressive. Unfortunately, they do not accommodate egg food allergies, since it would alter their secret recipes.

The Baseline: For cakes and cupcakes the base line is flavor, moistness of the cake, and quality of the icing. SusieCakes hits the marks for the baseline. September 16, 2025 review: Food: I got a dozen cupcakes with my favorite flavors (peanut butter and coffee) and the seasonal pumpkin spice. All were moist and flavorful matching the flavor stated. Great cupcakes. Service: Great and fast service today. Ambiance: Bakery was super clean and well organized. Made me feel comfortable to be there. This was my Mother's Day cake. Beautiful on the outside, but very small, and very expensive for six or eight servings. Honestly, this was a beautiful cake with a super-sweet, hard fondant that's hard to cut, so you should serve it cold or you'll have a bad time. It was too sweet, and I only give it a "good" for the marbling. Based on its appearance, none of my guests could eat it because of the excess sugar.

One of the BEST bakeries!!! Extremely friendly service. Might be a little pricey, but it's worth it for the quality and flavor. Located at the edge of Manhattan village. Plenty of free parking. No indoor seating but there are a couple of benches outside.
