Very large parking to access the southern trailhead of the Sussex Branch Railroad trail. Many smaller trails branch off. Easiest to spot in the winter, the old Sussex Mine Railroad ROW can be seen just to the west of the main trail. Good for dogs, biking, hiking, walking, jogging, horseback riding, and cross country skiing if there’s ever snow.
This is a wonderful place to park and start a walk or biking adventure. It is so wonderful for them to provide bicycle tools and an air pump at the beginning of the trail. People in the parking lot are always very friendly and happy and in a good mood.
Great Trail for riding the bike!! 33 miles round trip!!
Nice, almost level walk. Some big water puddles after rain.
My dog and I love this trail.
