Customer Reviews
Everything but the service was excellent. The vibe and food were good. However, the customer service felt off from the beginning. After a massage, I was debating between sushi or Chinese (like Chef Tan) and decided on Sweet Ginger. I almost wish I could have a redo. I stuck it out, but the gentleman serving me had an attitude, as if he’d rather be serving anyone else. Mind you, I was just sitting there, chilling and eating. I still tipped, but for any solo diners who experience the same thing, I’d say don’t leave a tip and just go about your merry day. A quick note: if you walk in and are greeted with a cold “How may I help you?” instead of the normal “How many?”—consider docking from the tip. I don’t even need a “hey,” but the standard “how many?” is plenty. Overall, I can’t wait for t
The restaurant was in the shopping center across from the Giant Food Supermarket. I was greeted promptly as I entered. This establishment has a fully stocked bar and served alcohol. There are a lot of sushi options. I decided to dine in and there were plenty of table tables. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and it came out quickly hot and delicious. I was able to use the restroom and it was clean.
Sweet Ginger is my favorite sushi spot in Vienna. The fish is always fresh, and the food is flavorful. The staff is and ambience are nice. I wish they had a reward program because I order every single week from there haha. They also should add delivery options. Highly recommend the place!
So glad we got reservations because it was packed when we got there on a Friday evening. The space is small, and it was a little hard to hear our conversation. The food was fantastic though, and I loved how they presented our sushi rolls on wooden boats. Lots of families were here too, which is nice. Service was also great.
I recently dined at a restaurant that came highly recommended, and while the overall dining experience was good, the dishes didn't quite meet my high expectations. The Chirashi bowl was fresh, and the sashimi had a good texture, although I'd had better elsewhere. Similarly, the Peking Duck Roll was acceptable but not exceptional. The restaurant offers various dishes from different Asian cuisines for those interested in exploring beyond Japanese cuisine.
