Sweet Licks Ice Cream & Cafe Shop

Went in about 1 pm on a Monday. Poor young girl seemed to be working all alone . TERRIBLE way to run a new business! At least 1 third of the ice cream counter was empty. She said she would be right with us. We waited at least 15 minutes. She was still in the back working on something else, another order, I assume. Meanwhile 8 more people showed up to be served. We left. Not a good way to run a business! Very expensive ! Nice try cause it's a great location, but....learned our lesson!

Delicious ice cream, unforgettable atmosphere! With a short walk or bike ride from the beaches, it's a great mini escape in a beautiful and still recovering but STRONG neighborhood! P.S. - try the paninis if and when they are available (certain hours I think), they are simply amazing!!!

Cute ice cream shop with a ton of different flavors! We came back a few times during our stay and highly recommend the Sandy Shores ice cream! This was within walking distance of where we were staying and it was the perfect evening treat.

Expensive and not good ice cream. Had an icey texture rather than creamy. They sell Royal Scoops ice cream, not something they make themselves. Go to Love Boat ice cream for true homemade creamy ice cream. Same price but two scoops instead of one.

a waffle cone for $7.50 (plus tip) is steep but there was probably about half a gallon in that cone. I wish there was a half-the-price and half-the-ice-cream option. My girlfriend and I both got smalls and walked out for 19 bucks.
