Sweet Tooth Cafe

I'm so thankful that a place like this is now in our neighborhood! The food is fresh and flavorful. The price points on everything are also excellent. It's a great place to co-work with a friend because you can get a beverage and order food when you get hungry. It's spacious and there are enough electrical outlets for your devices! I've been a number of times and this time, I had the salmon breakfast sandwich without cheese. I'm not a big fan of eggs, so I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and fresh the eggs were! The salmon cake was good too! I also included a picture of one of the vegan donut. Fantastic! I also recommend the triple chocolate cake. If you're looking for a place to eat in Anacostia, this is it!

Amazing food, staff, and energy at this cafe. A very diverse menu with many options for dietary choices, including halal and vegan. The chicken and waffles are the best I’ve had. Golden crispy chicken wings, fresh and plenty paired with soft warm waffles. Simple yet so good. Clearly made with love and to order. The staff are welcoming, warm, and attentive to guest needs. The music is well-selected and the restaurant is cozy, comfortable, and quiet. A new and true hidden gem east of the river!

I had a wonderful time here with a friend. I ordered a black coffee and vegan hawaiian pizza. my friend had the hot chai and breakfast sandwich. we also got a sample of their upcoming matcha latte! the food was really great and our host Isaa and honestly all of the staff were SO welcoming and kind. i can't wait to come back and satisfy my sweet tooth.

Stopped in for pastry and coffee. The Americano was well-made. The apple turnover was just what you’d expect. The dining room was comfortable and quiet. There was a choice of high-top, communal, and loungey chairs. Everything, including the restrooms, was spotlessly clean. I was not presented with a tip option on the payment pad. I ordered at the counter, following a lady who was doing the same. Not sure if there is table-side ordering at the numbered tables. I wish the many pastries on display were labeled. Some are vegan, but you don’t know just by looking.

Wow wow wow!!! This place is exactly what my tummy needed!!! I got the vegan breakfast sandwich and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I also had a dirty chai tea and it was delish!!! Thank you to Chef Steve and your staff for creating a great meal and atmosphere to enjoy! My sister and i will be back when we visit DC again.
