Sweetie’s Sweet Shoppe

It was fun to travel around old downtown Gridley to find this cute little shop full of all kinds of sweets to discover. The kids just love going in and picking out some goodies. It would have been nice if it was located right off of 99 in one of those strip malls to find easier but it is well worth the extra effort to find and see the old downtown area. The chef's salad was well made and the home made ranch dressing was delicious, along with the Bavarian cream filled puff pastry with fresh berries on top was to die for. Everything is just plain yummy.

This pumpkin bread loaf is 10 outta 10!! So yummy!! 🤤 I got my wife and daughter cake pops and they were delicious too, very soft and moist--just perfection!! The decorations in the store are super cute, the place looks very clean, and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

This place is extremely unsanitary. The pies are cooked out of their house, which has cockroaches and chickens running around. I was really disappointed with how we were treated — the lady took her time helping other customers, but when it was our turn, she rushed me and my kids and barely answered our questions. For a city with a strong Mexican community, it was surprising and disheartening to experience that kind of attitude. We were patient and respectful, yet treated differently. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — definitely not worth supporting.

It's been a couple months since I've been in however the staff was great , super sweet and friendly . Helped me to decide with a sample . Ice cream was wonderful it was hard to pick . The cookies looked yummy . They were all picture perfect, baked daily . I will be back soon . Family friendly with candy , and some old school candies as well. Go check it out and get your sweet tooth fix you wont be disappointed 😊😊

My family and I have been to Sweeties a few different times now. We’ve purchased cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, mini pies, mini cheesecakes, etc and they have all been reasonably priced and delicious! Recently I ordered some cupcakes for a bday party and it was a smooth and easy process. If you need a sweet treat, I definitely recommend Sweeties.
