Swimming & Diving Pool

A great place to swim. Clean and not too warm water.

With current covid restrictions and policies in place, I found the pool and locker room area very clean and pretty empty. (I came in at 12:30 pm)The cleaning staff comes in to clean everything in between pool hours. Beyond that, the actual pool area is perfect. The water is always the right temperature for a good swim, and I've always loved the natural light that comes in from the windows :-) There's options and resources available for swimmers of all levels, and you can always ask the lifeguards if you need anything. Just, don't forget to take your mask off before you jump in like me. It's not ideal if you like breathing.

Such clean pools - 2 of them. 3 diving boards and a hot tub; although, I'm told the hot tub is not open often do to the chemical imbalance that it often has... that makes it sound like it is depressed!?!

The pool is great and you can rent a towel and locker services of you're a CMU student!

Great for CMU students. Right now it is not that packed and hoping it is like that during the semester. Plus there's a steam room!
