Swirlee's Sweet & Frozen Treats of Athens

Amazing ice cream place, my favorite one in the area! I babysit two toddlers and felt so bad about how they made a mess with the free toppings (which I was so surprised they offered and had sitting out for free use of) but the staff are so patient and child friendly, they didn’t seem to care about the kids excitement and cleaned up the mess before I could get to it. I love the arcade machine, it was the highlight of our day and the ice cream is great.

Advertised as open and the sign on the door says closed and doors locked. Please adjust your online hours to match. 2:45pm on a Saturday

This little ice cream joint is conveniently in between two of the restaurants my family and I were eating at tonight. With a name like Swirlee's, of course we had to come in and grab a sweet treat. This ice cream shop is really cute! I love the decor. Two gals were working tonight. They both greeted us. They patiently waited for us to decide what we wanted while we checked out what was in the ice cream cases and the toppings they had. They have a bunch of fun toppings and syrups available. Most of them were candy and dry toppings like cereal or cookies. Everything looked good! There was lots of options of Hershey's ice cream. Best deal on ice cream I’ve ever seen and delicious. The only downside is that they’re not open all week!

employees were very nice and patient when i came in with my zoo of kids 😂. definitely a family friendly place & with for sure be coming back with all my nieces and nephews 🩷
