I went here for the first time to get a Pan con Chicharrón and a milkshake. I was in a hurry because I had to get back to work. When I arrived, the owner, Sylvia, came out yelling at a young guy about the floor needing to be mopped, then yelling at her husband about something else. Her attitude was extremely rude, bitter, and unprofessional. When I got my order, I went back to work to eat. The sandwich was terrible — old, dry bread with just two very thin slices of sweet potato and chunks of dry, tough pork thrown inside. It looked and tasted awful. The milkshake was even worse. I had already noticed the blender base sitting dirty in the sink, and instead of properly cleaning it, it seemed like she just rinsed it quickly and reused it. The shake tasted strange and unpleasant, and it ended

This place is terrible. The owner acts like she knows a lot about food, as she is Peruvian, when she serves you, but she doesn't make the customer happy, not to mention the prices are expensive and you can tell the food isn't made with quality ingredients. It's a shame they damage the image of delicious Peruvian food.

Overpriced, overpriced, overpriced. Everything. The sandwiches, the coffee, the tamales, the condiments. Also poor customer service- while we were waiting in line to order behind someone spending quite a while buying a lottery ticket, an older woman walked in, cut us in line, and her order was taken immediately.

The Jalea was hot, fresh and delicious. Didn't get the 5th star because the portion has gotten smaller from previous times and didn't come with the large Peruvian corn kernels, nor lime or lemon wedges. The waitress was friendly and accommodating and the bathroom was clean and well stocked... only downside is the parking which can be a bit dangerous seeing as Sylvia's was so packed that there is not enough parking spots. A real hole-in-the-wall treat!

The alfajores were not fresh! No manjarblando more dough which taste old. Why you sell old stuff??? 10.00 to the trash!
