We recently dined at Tabla, and the experience was very disappointing. The menu prices online did not match what was presented at the table, which felt misleading. We ordered the Parada Biryani, Dhaba Style Chicken with Rumali Roti, and two cocktails. The Parada Biryani looked impressive, but the flavor was off, the chicken was rubbery, and there was only food color and no aroma.The Raitha is not a Raitha it us a sour cream with mint flavor. The Dhaba Style Chicken was just two drumsticks in a basic onion-tomato gravy. Overall, this is not authentic Indian food neither North nor South. The cocktails were underwhelming. Been to Tabla many times and it never disappoints. The food is authentic, full of flavor, and always comes out fast. Everything we’ve ordered has been consistently on point. Anup, the manager, is hands down one of the best. He really knows his stuff, especially when it comes to the menu and the liquor selection. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and makes sure every guest is taken care of. From the service to the food to the overall experience, everything here is just done right. Easily one of my favorite Indian restaurants. Highly recommend.
