Taco Beach Shack - Mexican Restaurant in Hollywood Beach

The soft tacos and burritos at this restaurant is simply AMAZING. We visited after reading some of the reviews and they are spot on. This restaurant is very popular. Whilst we there there, there was a constant stream of people coming in. The margarita was very nice too and is worth a try. The service was ok. The waitress that eventually took our order was good and friendly but other waiters/waitresses just walked past and avoided eye contact. One girl asked us who seated us and said they will come and take our order. Disappointing. I think it will be a better customer experience if they work as a team. Anyway, it was ok in the end. I would highly recommend the restaurant for their food and would definitely visit again.

Stayed at the affiliated Hollywood Beach Suites just steps away, dined here twice during our one week Florida vacation. Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. Joe was our server and bartender on the first visit, New York transplant could not have been more accommodating. Made 2 great margarita's (one nonalcoholic) Awesome special provided by our hotel, two free drinks and 20% off the entire bill each time you visit. Drinks were followed by fantastic taco platters, great music playing and a lively crown on both occasions. A must return spot for us

Fun spot. There was a woman singing salsa the night we were there, quite good and not overwhelming. Place is decorated with beach toys and sombreros hanging overhead. Decent mojito. We had chicken fajitas and shrimp fajitas. Good size portions with good sides. Didn't rush us at all.

Kourtney was such a fun and helpful friend! Definitely worth the visit. Surprisingly good and unique salsa! The tacos were bigger than anywhere on the beach! I love how I got a whole pitcher of water as the ladies drink their drinks. We will be coming back this trip! Fun place!

My partner and I decided to check out Taco Beach Shack today given the great reviews and our craving for Mexican food and I can say it definitely did not disappoint! Kourtney, our hostess/ server was the friendliest person; she had a great personality and gave us the scoop on all the different foods on the menu. The food itself was amazing and fresh. We had dined at another Mexican place earlier in our trip on the Broadwalk but Taco beach shack was so much better! I tip my hat off to Kourtney and the gang at Taco beach shack, great food and service. I would highly recommend.
