Taco Boy Charleston

Such a good family friendly place to eat. We made it just before the end of happy hour and really enjoyed the variety of flavors of the tacos. Our server Dylan went above and beyond in welcoming us to the area!

Visited this place with my bf!! Very good food!! Was greeted by a lovely host who gave us a menu to order being that we were ordering to go!! Then we ended up placing our order with the very nice bartender behind the counter. Not even 5mins he acknowledged us so we just ended up placing our order with him. Food came out fast and correct as well. Will be returning!!!! With or without my bf lol !!!

If you live in the area then you know. This place is awesome!! Two words : pineapple tequila. Just get it on the rocks. Everything on the menu is great. Tried the shrimp and crab empanadas as something new and they are a perfect "10". Might be enough for a whole meal if you are not that hungry. Street corn is top notch. Have not heard one complaint on the appetizers. You deserve a break today. And tequila will help with that break

3 out of 5. Not the biggest fan of the food, but the service was great. The tacos were just okay. I was not a fan that they came on a single corn tortilla, fell apart immediately .The beans were a bit cold and the rice wasnt that good. They did have a really good margarita though, and the space is beautiful inside. Great atmosphere, just wish the food had matched it a bit more.

Our first Taco Boy experience was quiet & tasty! 😋 Upon arriving, it doesn't look too nice from the outside...then you walk in and it's this gorgeous restaurant with a huge patio and yard area, all behind a huge fence. You'd have no idea you were right by a major roadway! We started with the Spicy Margarita and Hibiscus Margarita. Sometimes you can't taste the spice in spicy drinks, but you could definitely taste the jalapeno and it was GOOD! The Hibiscus Margarita was equally refreshing but with sweet notes. The kids opted for hotdogs with rice and a hibiscus drink. They didn't care for the aftertaste that the hibiscus drink had, but I loved it! Both gobbled up the hotdog and rice.
