Taco Tico

I ordered the #4 Combo asked cashier could I get soft tacos. So I get my order, got to my car and noticed I had two hard shell tacos. I went back in and told the lady who rung my order up that they were supposed to be soft. For a moment she looked confused but relayed it to a lady who made them. Now this is were a good experience quickly turned into a bad one. After she told her that I wanted soft tacos, obviously she either didn't ring it up that way nor told the other lady. Instead of just making my two soft tacos she decides to tell her it was extra for soft tacos which was fine. But she made a whole story about .30 cents worth of flours and then tried to tell me it was an extra charge. I told her it didn't matter when I ordered it if there was an extra charge. I love taco tico! It's the best and highest quality tex Mex I've had in my life. I was so excited to see a taco tico restaurant while we were in Texarkana Texas, so we HAD to go. These restaurants are too few and far between in the USA. We need more taco tico in this world!

Great taco shop with lots of history and great food!

I had Taco Tico for the first time. Someone from the area was talking about the taco burger and I was intrigued. I ordered the #4, a Taco burger and two tacos. The Taco burger was good. It reminds me of a sloppy Joe with Taco seasoning. I enjoyed the tacos also. I sampled the enchiladas they were really flavorful. They enchiladas sauce on top of them set off the whole meal. They have these sauces that you can add for more flavor. They serve Coca-Cola products and the prices are very reasonable. If you enjoy Tex-Mex, you'll enjoy Taco Tico. I would stop by again.

The quesadilla was pretty tasty and not expensive. But the quality is still only a little above fast food.
