Taco Tonto's

We recently dined in and truly had the best lunch!!! Every aspect of our service, food, and the vibes were tremendous. We sat at the bar for happy hour (great prices and offerings!!) and ordered chips and salsa, a chicken burrito, and vegan tacos/sides - as well as a mango margarita. The food was incredible and the service was absolutely exceptional. We had a delightful time chatting with the bartender (Katherine) who helped us find great options for what we wanted, talked about the menu and drink options, and was so friendly and kind. Our experience there made us want to go back again at any time!! The portions were huge and delicious. My boyfriend said the chicken was seasoned perfectly, and I’m so grateful for great vegan options. Such a cute spot and will definitely be back soon!!!

Randomly stumbled upon this adorable little 🌮 restaurant and was very pleased with the results. Love the vibrant colors and decor throughout. Menu is simple but boasts of many options for both the carnivore and vegetarian 😆😝 Both bartender and server were quick to take our order and serve up the most delicious meal, accompanied by a tasty house margarita 🍹 This was a first but will definitely return!

First time dining in. I ordered to go before & wasn't impressed. Service was good. Margaritas were standard ($11). The dip sampler (12.5) was not that great. Corn salsa, bland & tasted like canned corn. Pineapple salsa lacked flavor. Queso was adequate. Chips seem store bought. Steak burrito ($11) was pretty big. Nice amt of steak. Tender & well seasoned. Lots of cheese. Lettuce wilted, pico & sour cream were unbalanced in burrito. Husband got a chicken burrito ($11), he said chicken was tender & seasoned but his burrito over all lacked flavor.

We stayed at the air b&b above Tantos and man am I glad we did! The mixed drinks were amazing and the food was incredible! The portion sizes are impressive, how they fit all of that beef in a taco is still a mystery. We got there in between shift changes and both servers were fun and helpful, even told us about a comedy show we should check out. Would absolutely go here again if I ever make it to Lakewood again!

My friend got a black bean burrito. She loved it. I got one of their giant crunchy tacos. They do not put their crunchy shells in the oven for 3 minutes to make them crispy. I call it a gringo taco. Their shells are not actually crunchy. They're right out of the box. The filling was okay. I'm from Phoenix so lot of competition!
