Visited this restaurant on 11/3/25. First let me start by saying the food is very bland, and has not one ounce of flavor. We ordered more tacos in hopes of a better experience. WRONG! The fish tacos were the only decent ones on the menu. The server was over the top and kept insisting we try the beer on the happy hour menu - HORRIBLE. The margarita was terrible as well. We told the server that the margarita was not good and tasted like it sat, waiting to be picked up by the server. He just brushed it off. While eating we noticed all the customers that were seated after us got chips and salsa as soon they sat down. I asked the server were chips and salsa complimentary. He said they were but customers must ask for them. LIE! Not one of those customers who were seated after us asked for chip

Tacombi Arlington is such a fun spot. The staff was genuinely warm and welcoming, and the agua frescas were seriously excellent, fresh, flavorful, and the perfect pairing with tacos. The tacos al pastor were the standout: super tasty, well-balanced, and easily my favorite thing we ordered. The atmosphere and aesthetic are on point too,bright, lively, and thoughtfully designed. For a second, I honestly felt like I was back in Mexico. Would definitely come back.

In Kind Find Tacombi - Arlington is a sweet surprise. Tucked perfectly between Whole Foods and the Alamo Drafthouse, this cozy spot delivers big vibes in a quaint, throwback 60s-style diner setting. The décor is cute and nostalgic, and the playlist was smooth and mellow with tracks like Sabre Alley by La Lom, Why Why Why Why Why by Sault, and Honey by Drugdealer. You'll find yourself nodding along while you eat. I stopped by on Taco Tuesday, which means two-for-one tacos--a deal you simply can't beat. We had such a great experience at Tacombi! The tacos were absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The service was just as amazing. Reina was our server and she was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. She truly made our visit even better. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This place has good tacos. The best ones are the shrimp one and the fried cod. Their tuesday buy one get one off deal is great. Only reason I cannot give a 5 star is for their practice of charging tip on the full price on tuesdays. You only know if you pay attention on the receipt or get a paper copy of the receipt where the fine print is. Otherwise you dont know. Recommend you always calculate a custom tip. Staff is friendly and attentative unless it gets very busy. Their salsa are good. Chips are as well, except its not consistent and can sometimes be over seasoned. But when done right, they are really good. You can park in the garage next to the movie theater. Its free parking after 4pm.
