Very chill vibes. The staff were super attentive and always kind. The bathrooms were also clean and cool which was appreciated on a hot day. Food was what I needed. Went for a bite and ended up ordering more food because it was so tasty. The al pastor taco was perfection. Loved the chips and guacamole, very creamy but flavorful. The drinks were so good. I'd recommend the Ranch Water and Spicy Poblano. Only thing I wouldn't recommend would be the churros. They were very citrus and not sweet which was weird. I didn't finish them but if you like that type of churros go for it. The chocolate that came with it was great though. Also they have cute little racks to hang your stuff up which I love!!!!
If you’re in Brooklyn and craving truly delicious and authentic Mexican food, Tacombi is a must-visit. The flavors are vibrant, the dishes are fresh and full of character—from tacos to esquites, every bite is a treat. The service is warm and attentive, making you feel right at home, and the laid-back atmosphere adds to the charm. Bonus: if you’re staying at the POD Brooklyn Hotel, you get 15% off your meal—a great deal for an already fantastic experience!
Went there for lunch on a Sunday and it wasn’t too busy. Really good food and the atmosphere was nice. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for tacos. They have a good variety and we enjoyed everything we had.
Better than expected! We got six tacos — the Pat LaFrieda, birria, fish, and a sweet potato & black bean taco were among the highlights. All were packed with flavor, but the Pat LaFrieda and birria(comes with bone broth) really stood out. We also had guacamole on the side — super fresh, though the portion was a bit small for the price. We paid around $55 for two people. Overall, a great experience with authentic flavors.
Really great spot for delicious, authentic Mexican food! The atmosphere is really nice with cute fairly lights and Latin music. The only thing I’d say is that it’s an open kitchen concept which is great but also brings the cooking smells. The staff is very attentive and efficient. The food is prepared extremely quickly and everything tasted authentic, fresh and flavourful. The beef taco was a little chewy, but apart from that, I loved the tostada, chicken taco and quesadilla. In my opinion, it was also priced fairly.
