Tacos Bajo la Carpa

Recently tried this Mexican spot and was seriously impressed by how authentic everything felt from the first bite. We ordered the chicken taco and the beef taco, and both were absolutely fantastic. The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavour, while the beef was tender with a rich, slightly smoky taste that really stood out. The tortillas tasted fresh and traditional, and the toppings complemented the meat without overwhelming it. Everything felt simple, balanced, and true to authentic Mexican flavours that I was looking for.

Great service. The tacos are good. A little bit greasy but good nonetheless. I tried the Horchata and that was amazing.

The best taco experience ever had in my life. The owners are so nice and the tacos and hot dog was great. i would recommend beef and maurinated pork.

We were only stopping over for the night and decided to walk over for dinner — and we’re so glad we did. The food was delicious and felt like real food: fresh, flavourful, and made with care rather than fuss. Everything we tried was full of flavour and deeply satisfying. It was absolutely worth the short walk from our hotel, and we’d happily go back if we were in town again.
